Job Description
The Account Executive is responsible for sales to an existing account base of Runzheimer s Total Employee Mobility Solutions, which includes business vehicle services, global mobility services, Travel and Expense Solutions, GPS-based productivity tools, route optimization and mobile device management plans. The Account Executive is responsible for a regional multi-state territory. The individual will be responsible for meeting and exceeding individual annual revenue targets for our solutions. The position reports to the Director of Client Relations. The ability to retain and grow customer revenue through a consultative sales approach with C-level executives is required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
To grow revenue of the assigned customer base in a geographic territory through sales of new products and services, renewals of assigned accounts, and identification of expansion opportunities for existing products within account base.
Represent and sell the entire Runzheimer International suite of products and services to assigned customer base either directly or through a referral process with Runzheimer Business Development Consultant.
Maintain and enhance relationships with the Executive level contacts within our customer base.
Work closely with aligned Program Managers ensuring that all annual renewals are processed and invoiced on time and in accordance with service dates.
Ensure smooth transition of all new account relationships from the Business Development Consultant to the Account Management team upon completion of successful implementation.
Grow the territory by prospecting existing customers sister, parent and subsidiary organizations.
Enhance the organization s reputation, vision and mission in the marketplace through sales opportunities, customer forums, client engagements, trade shows and corporate events.
Have a solid understanding of all Runzheimer International products and services to increase opportunities for new sales and generate referrals to other sales associates.
Assume all responsibilities for forecasting revenue in assigned territory in a rolling twelve month cycle.
Be able to articulate the Runzheimer International value proposition around solutions for managing a mobile workforce and why it matters to our customers.
Meets and/or exceeds established performance metrics for prospecting, sales presentations, proposals and closed business.
Ability to present ROI financial based selling solutions to VP & C-level prospective clients.
Develops and maintains an effectivesales and marketing plan for multiple products in their geographic territory.
Properly forecasts monthly, quarterly and annual revenue.
Formally collaborates with product management and sales management on industry, market and customer insights.
Prepare and maintain appropriate administrative duties to include crm, forecasting, pipeline and calendar.
Understanding of SaaS-based solutions, travel and mobility services and solutions.
Required Experience
Ability to sell new and existing products and services to an established customer base.
A four year college degree, preferably in business.
Minimum of three years of account relationship and sales experience preferably in software and consultative sales.
Strong solution sales capabilities.
Proven ability to accurately forecast monthly, quarterly and annually.
